Several professionals from different fields interested in Digital Privacy met on Thursday 11th July in Manchester city centre for discussing how to promote Digital Privacy awareness and make impactful changes in our communities.

The ninth Open Data Camp took place at the MECD building on the University of Manchester campus. It was organised as an unconference, a space in which attendees propose and choose sessions they want to run or attend to on the same day, collaboratively.

Pau&Company, as part of its commitment to ensuring maximum cybersecurity across all services, attended this event organised by Gardner Systems’ in which we talked about the rise in ransomware attacks and how Sophos approaches incident response.

This half-day conference organised by Manchester City Council’s Digital Strategy team explored three main areas: Ethics, Skills and Inclusivity in AI. Although the level of disruption that AI is bringing to our lives is high, it is very positive to see that technological processes are becoming more participatory.
